RSS Feeds
Other event sites and sources are welcome to use our event data through RSS. The addresses are meant for feed readers and other sites, so they open as plain feed files. Our sitewide feed is at https://otbla.com/index.xml and our events feed is at https://otbla.com/events/index.xml. Each category has its own feed at /events/<category>/index.xml, such as https://otbla.com/events/edm/index.xml. The feed terms are in the Terms of Use, and the full story is in our post Use Our RSS Feeds For Your Site Or Discovery.
Who's Behind This
Out Of The Box LA is run by a family that genuinely loves this city and everything it has to offer. We spend our weekends exploring new neighborhoods, chasing down food pop-ups, wandering museum openings, and finding art and adventure in corners of LA most calendars skip. Sharing what we find isn't a side project. It's how we already spend our time, and we're adding to this list of unique experiences as we keep exploring.
We also have a real soft spot for the local EDM and dance music scene. Los Angeles has one of the best electronic music communities in the world (warehouse raves, underground DJ sets, and festivals across every genre from house to techno to bass), and a lot of it never makes it onto a mainstream events page. Helping you find that scene, alongside everything else LA has going on, is part of why this site exists.
