Accessibility Statement

Our target

Out Of The Box LA aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the widely used standard for web accessibility, across every page we control.

What we've done

• Built the site with semantic HTML, visible focus indicators, and keyboard-operable navigation and controls
• Checked color contrast against WCAG's 4.5:1 (text) and 3:1 (focus indicators) thresholds, in both light and dark mode
• Gated animations, including the cookie consent banner's slide-in, behind a reduced-motion preference
• Run automated accessibility scans and manual keyboard-only walkthroughs of key pages and controls

Known limitations

• Third-party content: event images, embeds, and links we source from venues, organizers, and ticket sellers may not meet the same standard, since we don't control how they're produced.
• We're a small, actively maintained site. If you find something that doesn't work for you, please tell us; see below.
