After a four-year hiatus, the Arroyo Arts Collective is bringing back its annual Discovery Tour under a new name: ART/FOUND 2026. It is a one-day holiday art marketplace spread across Northeast Los Angeles, and it is one of the more distinctive things to do in Los Angeles this month.

When: Sunday, November 8, 2026, 11 AM to 4 PM Where: Avenue 50 Studio, 3714 N. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90065 Presented by: Arroyo Arts Collective, with Avenue 50 Studio on Fig

What to expect

This is not a single-room gallery show. Visitors start at Avenue 50 Studio on Fig, pick up a tour map, and then set off on a self-guided driving route to see the work of about 40 participating artists. Stops include historic private homes and studios around the neighborhood, so you see the art where it is actually made.

The organizers pitch it to collectors, curators and journalists, but also to anyone who is simply curious. Established and emerging artists are both on the route, and the timing, a few weeks before the holidays, makes it a practical way to find one-of-a-kind pieces to give or keep. If you are looking for LA events this weekend that go beyond a standard gallery crawl, a day spent moving between artists' own spaces is a good pick.

The event poster, painted by C. Michael Frey, gives a hint of the local character: a hillside of poppies and scrub, two figures on a bench, and handwriting running through the paint.

Practical info

Plan on driving, since the tour is designed as a car route between stops, and allow most of the afternoon to cover more than a handful of locations. Start early, because the map is handed out at Avenue 50 Studio and the tour runs only five hours. The source listing does not publish a ticket price, so check with the organizers before you go.

The tour is supported in part by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the LA County Department of Arts and Culture, and Creative Recovery LA. Keep an eye on upcoming events in Los Angeles for more neighborhood art days like this one, and browse more arts and culture events across the city.
