Winter in Los Angeles rarely means snow, but BLK Winter Pride leans into the idea anyway. Billed as "where winter meets the West Coast," this four-day Pride celebration takes over MLK weekend, January 15 through 18, 2027, with a lineup built around Black LGBTQ+ nightlife, daytime hangouts and a closing brunch. If you are mapping out things to do in Los Angeles in the new year, it is worth marking early.

When: Friday, January 15 to Monday, January 18, 2027 Where: Los Angeles (venues for each event are still being announced) Presented by: SlayPride LA Tickets: All Access Passes and single events on the AllEvents listing

What the weekend looks like

The organizer's flyer lays out a day-by-day plan. Friday opens with a host-hotel welcome and meet-up from 4 to 7 PM, followed by Frost, an opening-night affair with a winter-white dress theme, from 10 PM to 2 AM.

Saturday night is BLK Ice, described as an all-Black winter glam affair, running 10 PM to 2 AM. Sunday brings the California Dreamini day experience, a rooftop and poolside party with cocktails, R&B and West Coast vibes from 1 to 6 PM, then Fireside, an R&B lounge night billed as grown, sexy and soulful, from 9 PM to 1 AM.

The weekend closes Monday, January 18, with the Black Gurl Brunch Club presenting The King's Table, an MLK Day brunch about celebrating legacy and honoring community. It runs 11 AM to 3 PM.

Tickets and planning

The listing offers All Access Passes in several price tiers, so check the page for what is currently available before you commit, since earlier tiers tend to cost less. The flyer also says full itinerary details and passes are still to come, so times and venues may shift between now and January.

The flyer names a Hilton near LAX as the official host hotel, with group rates booked directly through the organizer rather than the hotel. If you are flying in, read the booking instructions on the official page first.

Because it falls on a holiday weekend, expect a crowd of out-of-towners alongside locals. Rideshare or the Metro will make late nights easier than hunting for parking. Anyone scanning LA events this weekend lists in mid-January should also look at what else the city has on for MLK Day.
