Most art events ask you to look at work on a wall. The Brewery Artwalk lets you walk into the room where it was made. Twice a year, the artists who live and work at the Brewery Arts Complex in Lincoln Heights open their doors, and this fall's edition is an easy pick for LA events this weekend if you want art with a face and a story attached.

When: Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 2026, 11 AM to 6 PM Where: The Brewery Arts Complex, 1920 N. Main St., Los Angeles 90031 Tickets: $5 for ages 18 and over, good for both days

What to expect

The complex is a 17-acre former Pabst Blue Ribbon brewery, often described as the world's largest art complex. For more than 40 years, its resident artists have welcomed visitors into their studios, and this fall more than 100 of them are taking part. You can meet the makers where they work, look at new pieces and buy directly from the artist, which is the best way to take something home that nobody else has.

Expect a mix of painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics and mixed media, spread across a campus that rewards wandering. Studios sit in converted brewery buildings, so plan on stairs, courtyards and a lot of walking. Wear comfortable shoes.

Food and drink

The food lineup is bigger this year. Kogi, Yeastie Boys, Cena Vegan, Kalamaki and Prince St. Pizza are on the list, with more vendors still being added. Two new beer and wine gardens sit at the heart of the campus, which gives you a place to rest between studios and talk over what you have seen.

Tickets and practical info

Adults 18 and over pay a $5 ticket that covers both days. The organizers say the fee moves the cost of the weekend off the artists and onto the event, so more Brewery artists can afford to participate. Kids 17 and under, and residents of the 90031, 90033 and 90023 zip codes, get in free with ID.

Parking is free but fills quickly, so rideshare is the safer call. If you are mapping out things to do in Los Angeles over the first weekend of November, give yourself at least three hours to cover a decent share of the studios, and more if you plan to eat and linger in the gardens.

Tickets are sold through the Brewery Artwalk site, and the Discover Los Angeles listing has the full details. For more art-focused plans, browse the arts and culture section, and check the upcoming events Los Angeles listings for what else is on that weekend.
