Sunday is the second half of ComplexCon's downtown weekend. The 2026 edition is listed at Crypto.com Arena for Sunday, October 4, and if you skipped Saturday (or went and want another shot at the booths), this is your day. It's easily one of the bigger things happening in Los Angeles that weekend for anyone who cares about sneakers, streetwear or designer toys.

The short version of ComplexCon

Complex, the media company behind years of sneaker and hip-hop coverage, launched ComplexCon in 2016. The early editions ran at the Long Beach Convention Center. It's part trade show and part shopping event. Brands bring limited releases that you mostly can't buy anywhere else, designers and artists team up on one-off pieces, and there's usually food, music and a few panels mixed in.

Crowds are the defining feature. Lines for the most hyped drops have formed hours before doors at past editions, and the floor gets loud.

Why Sunday can be the smarter day

Plenty of regulars like the second day better. The resellers and the most determined collectors tend to go hard on day one, so Sunday can feel a little calmer. There's a tradeoff, though: some limited items sell out on Saturday and don't come back. If there's one specific release you're after, check the brand's own announcements to see which day it drops.

The room

Crypto.com Arena sits on South Figueroa, across from L.A. Live. It's home to the Lakers, Clippers, Kings and Sparks, so the layout is a bowl with concourses wrapped around it, not a single open hall. Expect booths spread across levels, and look at the event map before you go so you aren't doing laps.

What to check before you head out

The AllEvents listing shows Sunday running from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Two hours is short for a ComplexCon day, so we'd treat that as a placeholder and confirm times with the official ticketing page. We also couldn't find a ticket price on the listing, and we're not going to guess one. Past editions sold single-day and weekend passes.

  • Transit: Pico Station on the A and E Lines is a short walk away. The garages around L.A. Live fill up fast on event nights.
  • Phone and payment: Charge your phone and bring a card. Some drops at past editions used mobile queues.
  • Shoes: You'll be on your feet on concrete for hours, which is a good excuse to wear the pair you're proudest of.

If you're sorting through LA events this weekend, ComplexCon Sunday is the pick for the sneaker crowd. The Saturday session has its own post, and there are more things to do in downtown Los Angeles plus the full arts and culture calendar if you want to round out the weekend.
