Theatre Rocks! at Theatre West

Theatre West usually means a play. On Sunday, Nov. 15, the Cahuenga Boulevard stage trades the script for a setlist. Theatre Rocks! is a live music night that moves through pop, musical theater and rock, pulling songs from several decades and putting them in front of an audience in one room.

Three acts share the bill: Cover Me Blind, Cat Chemist and Bobby Bognar. David P. Johnson hosts, and Garry Kluger produces. If you are scanning for things happening in Hollywood that mix a theater crowd with a rock crowd, this one is built for both.

When: Sunday, Nov. 15, 2026, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Where: Theatre West, 3333 Cahuenga Blvd W, Los Angeles, CA 90068 Tickets: $20 at the door

What to expect

The pitch is range. A musical theater number and a classic rock cover can sit back to back, and a host ties the evening together between acts. Because the songs come from many eras, you do not need to know a particular artist to follow along.

The organizers list the night as suitable for all ages, so it works for a family outing with teens as well as a casual evening with friends. It is an easy pick among upcoming events in Los Angeles if you want live music without a big venue or a big ticket price.

Why it matters

Proceeds support Theatre West's ongoing artistic endeavors and community programs. A night like this helps keep the stage lit between productions, so your twenty dollars goes to the room you are sitting in.
