Out Of The Box LA

Comedy Artists

Profiles of the comedians behind LA's stand-up, improv and live-podcast shows: their style, hometown, a sourced bio and the Los Angeles shows we list.

Every profile here is a comedian, troupe or podcast host that has played, or is booked to play, an LA show we list. I take each bio from the performer or an official source, such as a management, venue or festival page, and link back to it. Each profile opens with the performer's main style and hometown, then the bio, then a short note from me on what the night is like for an LA crowd. I never write one from a guess.

A photo only appears when I know where it came from and under what licence, and when it shows the billed performer. Without that, the page has no picture, and I'd rather leave it blank than show someone who isn't the performer. Each profile also lists the performer's upcoming Los Angeles shows, soonest first, and the performer's name on a comedy post links here.
