Beach House Comedy Club: Secret Netflix Headliner

Most comedy rooms in Los Angeles have a brick wall and a two-drink minimum. This one has a sunset, a sandy volleyball court and a crowd in folding chairs. Beach House Comedy Club sets up a stand-up show at a beach-front house in Playa del Rey, and the Saturday, October 17 edition is billed with "A Secret Netflix Headliner." If you are scanning things to do in Los Angeles for a night that feels different, this is a good candidate.

When: Saturday, October 17, 2026. Doors 7 PM, show 8 PM Where: 7053 Trolleyway S, Playa del Rey Tickets: From $31.72 on Eventbrite Hosts: Sean Leary and Scott Ibarra

What to Expect

The organizer describes it as a 90-minute outdoor stand-up show in a gorgeous beach-front setting. The top billing goes to a headliner with multiple Netflix specials, described as a favorite at the beach. The name is not announced, so part of the fun is finding out when the lineup is revealed. Past shows have featured performers such as Ali Wong, Jay Mohr, Sheng Wang and Tim Dillon, which gives you a sense of the level these nights aim for.

Supporting the headliner are two comics with solid credits:

• Luke Mones, a comedian, actor and writer who has appeared on Comedy Central and Comics Unleashed, and who has performed at Netflix Is a Joke Fest.
• Brian Parise, an Emmy-winning late-night writer whose credits include Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, plus stand-up festival showcases.

Sean Leary and Scott Ibarra host. Leary's company specializes in unusual spaces like beach houses and house shows, so expect a small, personal crowd rather than a big venue.

Bring Your Own Everything

The show is BYOB, so bring your favorite drinks and snacks. The organizer also lists the night as dog-friendly and 4/20 friendly, and says pizza from The Original Napoli Pizza will be on hand. Because it is outdoors near the water, dress in layers. October evenings at the beach get cool fast, and a blanket is a smart add-on to the folding chair.

Getting There

The address is 7053 Trolleyway South in Playa del Rey, a beach-front street on the Westside coast. Street parking in beach neighborhoods fills up on Saturday nights, so leave extra time and arrive when doors open at 7 PM to settle in before the 8 PM start. Ticket prices on Eventbrite start at $31.72 and go up for premium options, and the listing's own text mentions a $25 base ticket, so check the final price at checkout.
