Bert Kreischer is coming to the Greek Theatre on September 26, 2026, and if you've seen him perform before, you know what that means: no shirt, probably wine, and a story that somehow gets more ridiculous every time he tells it.

Kreischer built his reputation on a true tale from his college years involving the Russian mob, which Rolling Stone turned into an article that became the loose basis for the movie National Lampoon's Van Wilder. That story launched a career, and he's been topping it ever since. His Netflix specials (Secret Time, Hey Big Boy, Razzle Dazzle, and Lifetime of the Party) have made him one of the most recognizable faces in stand-up. His podcast "Bertcast" and the friendship with Tom Segura that spawned "Two Bears, One Cave" have only widened his reach.

The Greek Theatre is one of the best outdoor venues in LA. Tucked into Griffith Park at 2700 N. Vermont Ave., it holds roughly 5,900 people and has hosted everyone from Frank Sinatra to Radiohead. The natural hillside setting, oak trees, and open sky over Los Feliz make it feel genuinely special. Arrive a bit early to find your seat and take in the surroundings before the lights go down.

Los Feliz sits on the east side of Hollywood, just south of Griffith Park. If you're driving, the venue has a parking lot, but it fills up fast on show nights. Metro Line 180/181 stops near Vermont and Los Feliz Blvd, and rideshare drop-off is straightforward on Vermont. A few restaurants worth hitting beforehand are clustered along Hillhurst Ave and Vermont Ave a mile south of the venue.

Kreischer has been touring hard this year. His crowd work is genuinely unpredictable, and he tends to riff for a while before even getting to prepared material. Shows routinely run long, which fans treat as a bonus rather than an inconvenience. Outdoor venues suit his energy well. He likes room to pace, and audiences tend to relax more under open skies.

Tickets are available through the link above. The Greek typically has reserved seating, so check the seating chart before buying if you care about lawn versus amphitheater sections. September nights in Griffith Park can be cool, especially after 9 PM, so a light layer is worth throwing in your bag.

This is the kind of show that works whether you've followed Kreischer for years or just watched one of his specials last weekend. He doesn't assume much from an audience. He just shows up, takes his shirt off, and makes the whole thing feel like a party you happened to walk into.
