David Cross: Fake Joy at The Bellwether

David Cross is bringing his Fake Joy show to The Bellwether in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, February 18, 2027. If you like your stand-up sharp, skeptical and a little uncomfortable, this is the one to circle. It is already a strong candidate for the best things to do in Los Angeles this winter, and tickets are on sale now.

When: Thursday, February 18, 2027, 8 PM Where: The Bellwether, 333 S Boylston St, Los Angeles, CA 90017 Tickets: Ticketmaster

Who is David Cross

Cross is a stand-up comedian and actor, known for his years on sketch and television comedy and for a long run of touring specials. His stage style leans on political satire, sharp observation and a willingness to argue with the room. Fake Joy is the title of this tour date, and the listing is classed as stand-up comedy rather than a theater production.

The ticket page does not publish a set list, an opening act or a running time, so go in without expecting any of those. Comedy tours often add an opener, but that has not been confirmed for this date.

The room

The Bellwether sits on Boylston Street in the downtown core, a modern live-event venue that mostly books music and a few comedy nights. A single-night stop for a name like Cross should draw a crowd that knows his material, so expect a lively, talkative house.

Planning your night

The ticket listing shows no price in the data we have, so check Ticketmaster for current prices and fees before you buy. Downtown has plenty of paid garages and lots, plus Metro stops within reach of the area, so many people skip driving. Arrive early enough to find a spot and grab a drink before the 8 PM start.

If you are building a calendar of upcoming events Los Angeles has on offer this year, put this one on it early, because name comedians in a mid-size room tend to sell through. For more shows, browse our comedy events across the city.

The short version

One night, one of the best-known stand-ups on the road, a downtown room, and an 8 PM curtain on February 18, 2027. Confirm the details on the ticket page, and get your seats while they last.
