Peter Antoniou: Brain Teaser

Peter Antoniou is bringing his Brain Teaser show to Los Angeles, and it lands in one of the city's most handsome old rooms, the Wilshire Ebell Theatre. If you keep a running list of upcoming events Los Angeles has lined up for spring 2027, this stand-up night is an easy one to pencil in early.

When: Friday, April 2, 2027, 7:00 PM Where: Wilshire Ebell Theatre, 4401 West 8th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90005 Tickets: Through Ticketmaster (link below)

What to Expect

Ticketmaster files Brain Teaser under comedy, so expect a full evening of live stand-up built around the title's idea: puzzles, odd angles on everyday life and the kind of material that rewards a crowd paying attention. The listing is short on detail. It does not name opening acts or a running order, so check the ticket page closer to the date for any added guests before you plan around them.

A theater like this suits a comedian who works the room. The auditorium is built for listening, with seating that keeps the stage in clear view, and a sold-out night in a historic hall tends to feel more like an occasion than a bar show.

About the Venue

The Wilshire Ebell Theatre has anchored Mid-Wilshire for close to a century, part of the Ebell of Los Angeles complex with its Italian Renaissance facade and ornate interior. It sits just off Wilshire Boulevard, a short drive from Koreatown, Larchmont and Hancock Park, so dinner before the show is easy to arrange.
