Chocolate Sundaes Comedy at Laugh Factory Hollywood

Sunday night in Hollywood has a good excuse to stay out late. Chocolate Sundaes, hosted by Pookie Wigington, is a recurring stand-up showcase at the Laugh Factory on Sunset Boulevard, and the 7:00 PM set on October 18 is the one to book if you want your comedy before the work week starts.

The pitch from the organizers is simple: veteran comics, a few surprise guests, and a double scoop of live comedy. If you are scrolling through things to do in Los Angeles for the weekend and want something that does not need a plan beyond a ticket, this fits.

When: Sunday, October 18, 2026, 7:00 PM to about 8:30 PM Where: Laugh Factory Hollywood, 8001 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046 Tickets: $38.97 to $82.18 on Eventbrite

What to expect

Chocolate Sundaes runs every Sunday with an early and a late show, and this listing is the 7:00 PM one. Expect a rotating lineup rather than a single headliner: a host keeping the room moving, working comics trading short sets, and the occasional unannounced name stepping up from the back. That format is the reason the Laugh Factory has a reputation as a place where the lineup can surprise you.

The room itself is a classic comedy club. Tables sit close to the stage, the audience is part of the show, and the runtime is tight, around ninety minutes. It is a good fit for a date, a birthday group or a solo night out.

Planning your night

The ticket price range reflects different seating tiers, so check the Eventbrite page for what is left before you commit. Clubs like this one commonly have a drink or food minimum, which is worth confirming on the ticket page.

Parking on and around Sunset can be tight on a show night, so give yourself time to find a garage or use a rideshare. The club sits on the Sunset Strip, so you can easily pair the show with dinner nearby beforehand. If you are building a list of LA events this weekend, a Sunday early show leaves the rest of your evening free.
