A Tribute To Prince at The Peppermint Club

Anthony Family take on the catalog of Prince in A Tribute To Prince: Piano & A Microphone, a stripped-back show set for Saturday, December 12, 2026, at The Peppermint Club. The listing starts at 7:30 PM. If you are sorting through concerts in Los Angeles for the first half of December, this one trades big-stage production for a piano, a voice and a small room.

What to expect

The title tells you the format. Piano and microphone means the songs get stripped to their bones: the melodies, the chord changes and the lyrics, without the full-band wall of sound that usually surrounds a Prince set. Prince wrote across funk, rock, soul and pop, and a piano arrangement tends to bring out how strong the writing underneath actually is. Ticketmaster files the show under Music, Rock and Alternative Rock.

The source lists Anthony Family as the performers. It gives no setlist, no guest list and no word on a support slot, so go in expecting the tribute itself and nothing more specific than that.

The room

The Peppermint Club is a small music venue at 8713 Beverly Blvd, just off Robertson, with banquette seating, a front-and-center stage and a retro lounge look. A room this size suits an intimate tribute: you are close enough to watch the hands on the keys. Our Peppermint Club venue page has the house details, and the club sits in the West Hollywood area on our map.

Plan your night

The source we cite does not publish a price, so check the ticket page for current availability before you plan around it. Door times and any age rule are also set by the venue and ticket page, so confirm them there rather than relying on a guess. Beverly Blvd is a busy stretch, so leave extra time for traffic and for finding parking or arranging a ride, especially on a December Saturday when restaurants nearby fill up early.

Why it fits the weekend

A weekend of holiday shopping and parties can leave little room for something quiet and musical. A Prince tribute built on piano and voice is a gentler way to spend a Saturday night, and it is one of the more distinctive things happening in Hollywood-adjacent nightlife that week. Fans who know the hits will have favorites to listen for, and anyone who only knows a few songs may leave with a new one.
