Bruno Mars is playing SoFi Stadium on September 30, and he's bringing Raye and DJ Pee.Wee with him. This is a stadium-scale pop and R&B event in Inglewood, the kind of show that fills 70,000 seats and still feels like a tight production from start to finish. If you've seen Mars perform before, you know he doesn't treat a stadium like a large room. He treats it like a television studio and delivers accordingly.

The Lineup

Bruno Mars has spent the better part of two decades writing, producing, and performing songs that sit at the intersection of pop, funk, soul, and old-school R&B. His albums "Unorthodox Jukebox" and "24K Magic" produced hits that have held up on radio and in clubs years after their release. He regularly tops best-live-performer lists, which is a harder standard than album sales. His Vegas residency since 2023 with Anderson .Paak as Silk Sonic showed a different side of his range.

Raye is a British singer-songwriter who broke through with her 2023 album "My 21st Century Blues," an independently released record that earned multiple BRIT Award nominations. Her writing credits span artists from Beyonce to Charli XCX, and her own catalog leans toward confessional pop and dance music with a lot of emotional range. She's a strong opening act choice here, not a throwaway slot.

DJ Pee.Wee is Bruno Mars's longtime DJ and collaborator. His presence on the bill isn't a novelty. He's part of the core performance unit.

The Venue

SoFi Stadium sits at 1000 South Prairie Avenue in Inglewood, just south of the 405. It opened in 2020 and has hosted Super Bowls, concerts, and an NFL regular season calendar for the Rams and Chargers. The acoustics for live music are better than most venues this size, largely because the roof structure contains sound that would otherwise disperse into open air. The 70,000-seat capacity means tickets are available at various price points and viewing distances.

Getting There

Driving to SoFi from anywhere in Los Angeles on a September weeknight means planning for traffic. The venue sits at the intersection of Century Boulevard and Prairie Avenue, and the surrounding area fills up two hours before showtime. The official parking lots open three hours before events. A better option for many parts of the city is the Metro K Line (Crenshaw Line) to the Inglewood Station, about a half-mile walk or short rideshare from the gates. If you're coming from the Westside, the K Line connects to the E Line at Expo/Crenshaw. Factor in extra time either way.

Tickets start at $123. Check the venue box office or major ticket sellers for current availability, as secondary market pricing for Bruno Mars shows tends to move significantly closer to the date.
