Why this one is worth a look

If you keep a running list of live music in Los Angeles, a Tuesday show in a small room is a good way to hear an artist up close. The Peppermint Club is a compact venue, so you are not watching from the back of a cavernous hall. Expect an intimate R&B set rather than a stadium production. The listing does not name an opening act or a set length, so check the ticket page closer to the date for any updates.

What to know before you go

The Peppermint Club is a 21+ venue. Bring a valid photo ID: a state ID or driver's license, a non-expired U.S. government or military ID, or a passport all work. Doors generally open about an hour before the scheduled start, and seating is first-come, first-served, so arriving early gives you the best shot at a table. Bags up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches are allowed, and all bags are searched at the entrance, so travel light if you can.

Ticket prices are not published in the source listing, so look at Ticketmaster for current availability and pricing. Do not rely on door sales, since small rooms can sell out.

Getting there

The venue sits on Beverly Boulevard in the Hollywood and West Hollywood corridor, a stretch with plenty of restaurants for a pre-show dinner. Street parking nearby can be tight on busy nights, so leave extra time or use a rideshare, especially if you plan to have a drink. For more about the room, see the Peppermint Club venue guide.
