Iron Maiden is coming to Los Angeles. The Run For Your Lives World Tour lands at BMO Stadium on September 25, 2026, and if you've followed this band at all, you know what that means: a two-hour-plus set packed with classics, a stage rig that fills the field, and Eddie standing somewhere between 20 and 40 feet tall depending on which era they've decided to resurrect.
This is one of those LA concerts that sells itself. Iron Maiden has been doing this for nearly five decades and they haven't slowed down. The band formed in East London in 1975, and their catalog runs deep enough that they could play three different two-hour sets without repeating a song. BMO Stadium holds roughly 22,000, so the scale feels right for a group that has always been more comfortable filling arenas than theaters.
What to Expect
Expect a full production. Iron Maiden concerts are known for elaborate stage sets tied to the tour's theme, pyrotechnics, and multiple appearances by Eddie, their zombie mascot who has been terrorizing audiences since "The Trooper" era. The Run For Your Lives theme plays on their catalogue of songs about survival, war, and the apocalypse, which gives them plenty of material to pull from.
The band typically opens with something from the current cycle before digging into deeper cuts. You'll almost certainly hear "The Trooper," "Hallowed Be Thy Name," "Run to the Hills," and "Fear of the Dark" (the arena sing-along closer that never gets old). Steve Harris, the bassist who founded the band, still runs from one end of the stage to the other through the entire set. Bruce Dickinson, the singer, still sounds the way he did on Powerslave.
Getting Tickets
Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster. BMO Stadium doesn't have assigned pit sections for most concerts, so if you want to be close, arrive early. The venue is fully accessible with a dedicated entrance off Figueroa.
Getting There
BMO Stadium sits at 3939 S. Figueroa Street in Downtown LA, a short walk from the Expo/Vermont Metro stop on the E Line. Parking on-site fills fast for stadium shows, so the Metro is the cleaner option if you're coming from the Westside or Hollywood. Rideshare pickup is on Figueroa south of the stadium entrance.
Doors typically open 90 minutes before showtime for stadium concerts at BMO. This is a standing-on-pavement-for-a-while situation if you want a good spot on the floor, so dress for it.
The Bigger Picture
Live music in Los Angeles runs the full spectrum from tiny Silver Lake clubs to arena shows at Crypto.com Center, and Iron Maiden falls firmly on the large-scale end of that range. Concerts in Los Angeles don't always have this kind of historical weight behind them. When a band has been playing together, in largely the same lineup, for this long and still sounds this good, showing up feels less like a concert decision and more like the obvious thing to do.
Whether you've been listening since The Number of the Beast or discovered them through a video game soundtrack, the show at BMO Stadium is a straightforward reason to be in downtown Los Angeles on a Friday night. Buy tickets before the floor sells out.
