Nate Sib is based in Los Angeles, and on Friday, September 25 he plays one of the city's best rooms. The Wiltern holds about 2,300 people, which is a big jump for a songwriter who spent 2024 and 2025 opening for 2hollis. If you're sorting through LA events this weekend and want a show that feels like it's happening at the right moment, this is a good pick.

Who he is

Nate Sib is Nathan Subbiondo, born in 2004. His first single, "Why can't you see," came out in October 2023 with production from his friend 2hollis, and it ended up on the soundtrack for EA's NHL 24. That's how a lot of people heard him first, between hockey games.

He signed with Republic Records in October 2024. In January 2025 he showed up on "Afraid" with 2hollis, a track that racked up millions of streams. NME put him on its list of essential emerging artists that year. His EP for us followed in May 2025, and he's said the hyperpop producer SOPHIE shaped a lot of it.

Music runs in the family. His dad, Joe Sib, fronted the band WAX and co-owned SideOneDummy Records. Nate has played piano since he was four.

What to expect

His debut album, Reborn, came out in August 2026, so expect newer songs to make up a big chunk of the night. His sound moves between soft, piano-rooted pop and something much rougher: "hold on," from 2024, leans hard into distortion.

The listing we pulled shows an 8:00 PM start. Check your ticket for door time before you head out.

Getting there

The Wiltern sits at Wilshire and Western, on the edge of Koreatown. The Metro D Line's Wilshire/Western station is right at the corner, which beats hunting for parking on a Friday. Paid lots nearby fill up early on show nights.

We didn't find a confirmed face-value price at press time, so buy through the venue or a seller you trust and compare before you pay. The Los Angeles Events listing is where we found the date.

After the show, Koreatown is still open. Late-night barbecue and karaoke are a few blocks away, which makes this an easy anchor if you're planning things to do in Los Angeles on a Friday night.

For more shows, browse our concerts listings or see other Things Happening In Los Angeles on the Los Angeles page. The Wiltern's Art Deco lobby is worth getting there a little early to see, too.
