Santiago Cruz at Camille's at The Bellwether

Midweek shows in downtown are easy to skip. Santiago Cruz on a Wednesday night is a good reason not to. The Colombian singer-songwriter plays Camille's at The Bellwether on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, with the show listed for 8 PM. If you keep a running list of LA concerts that lean toward songwriting over spectacle, add this one.

Who is Santiago Cruz

Cruz is a singer-songwriter from Colombia whose records sit in the Latin pop and rock lane: melody first, lyrics that carry the weight, arrangements that leave room for the voice. He has built his career on Spanish-language songs that travel well in a small room, and he has been known to rework them for stripped-down and orchestral settings. Ticketmaster files this date under Music/Latin, which tells you the crowd to expect: fans who know the words and plan to sing them.

The room

Camille's is the smaller, more intimate space inside The Bellwether complex at 333 S. Boylston St. A singer-songwriter is the right fit for it. You are close enough to read the player's face, and the sound has nowhere to hide. For live music in Los Angeles, that kind of setup beats a big hall when the songs are the point. If you want the wider neighborhood picture, our Downtown LA guide covers where to eat and drink before or after.

What to expect

Expect a voice-and-guitar-forward night with a band that serves the songs, not the other way around. Cruz's audience tends to be attentive, so a seated or standing-and-listening feel is more likely than a dance floor. We have not seen a setlist, and the opener, if there is one, was not listed at the time of writing.
