Usher and Chris Brown are sharing a stage at SoFi Stadium tonight, Friday, September 25. If you grew up with R&B radio in the 2000s, this is the one to circle among LA events this weekend. Two singers who built careers on choreography and falsetto hooks are splitting one stadium bill in Inglewood, and ticket listings put the start at 7pm.

Who's Playing

Usher has been making hits since the late '90s. "Yeah!" and the rest of the Confessions era still get a room moving faster than almost anything from that decade. He headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in 2024, so he knows how to fill a football stadium with a set built for the cheap seats.

Chris Brown came up a few years later, with "Run It!" landing when he was still a teenager. His catalog runs long: "With You," "Forever," "No Guidance," "Under the Influence." Like Usher, he's a dancer first, and his shows lean hard on staging and choreography.

Putting them on one bill makes sense. They draw from the same well of Atlanta-by-way-of-Virginia R&B and club records, and a lot of fans own both artists' greatest hits on repeat.

The Venue

SoFi Stadium is at 1000 South Prairie Avenue in Inglewood, next to the Kia Forum and YouTube Theater. The translucent roof covers the seating bowl, which helps with sound for concerts. It's also the reason the place gets loud when a crowd sings along to a chorus they've known for twenty years.

Tickets and Getting There

Our sources list the show for today with a 7pm start. As of this morning, resale listings on Los Angeles Events started around $64, with the average listing much higher. Prices on a same-day stadium show swing hour to hour, so check before you commit. Stick to the stadium's official seller or a reputable resale platform.

Driving means leaving early. Prairie Avenue and Century Boulevard back up well before showtime, and prepaid parking is the only kind worth counting on. The Metro K Line to Downtown Inglewood station gets you close, with a shuttle or a walk of roughly a mile to the gates. Rideshare pickup after the show takes a while, so plan on waiting it out or walking a few blocks before calling a car.

SoFi uses a clear-bag policy, so leave the backpack at home.
