EDM in LA runs every night of the week if you know where to look. Most of it happens in warehouses and small clubs, not the big rooms, and it gets announced on ticket sites and promoter pages long before a mainstream events calendar picks it up. We pull from those listings and link straight to the source for tickets.

Where the nights happen

Techno and hard techno tend to land in warehouse spaces downtown and in the Arts District. House and disco crowds lean toward rooftops and daytime parties. Bass and dubstep shows book bigger rooms like the Belasco and the Novo. Trance sets usually run long and late, so it pays to show up after midnight.

Outside the festivals, the EDM Los Angeles crowd mostly follows promoters and collectives, not headliners. A lot of them run weekly or monthly residencies in Hollywood, DTLA, Long Beach and Pomona. If a crew threw a night you liked, their next one is a safer bet than a big name on a flyer.

Before you go

Most club and warehouse events are 21+. Set times often move by an hour or more from what was first posted, and some underground raves in Los Angeles only share the address on the day. Check each listing for the age policy and any RSVP before you make plans.
