A Club Called Rhonda with DJ Minx at Los Globos

A Club Called Rhonda is back at Los Globos this Friday, September 25, and the headliner is a Detroit name. DJ Minx tops the bill. DJ Holographic, Anastazja, Colored Craig, Gay Felony and Goddollars fill out the lineup. Doors are at 9:30pm and the party runs until 4am, so it's one of the later LA EDM events on this weekend's calendar.

DJ Minx is Jennifer Witcher, a house and techno DJ and producer from Detroit. She founded Women on Wax, a DJ collective with a label of the same name, Women on Wax Recordings. That fits a party that lists house and techno as its two genres for the night.

With six DJs on the flyer and six and a half hours of runtime, the night is built for staying a while instead of catching one headline set and leaving. Set times weren't published in the listing we checked, so if you're coming for a specific DJ, check the ticket page closer to the date.

Tickets and timing

The listing prices entry at $11.50 before 11pm, then $23 to $28.75 after that. That early-bird split is worth planning around. Getting there before 11 roughly halves your cost. Tickets are sold through Resident Advisor, linked on this page.

There's no rush to be there right at 9:30 unless you want the cheapest entry. The room stays open until 4am, and plenty of club nights in LA don't make it past 2.

Getting there

Los Globos is in Silver Lake. If you're staying until close, think about how you're getting home before the night starts. A 4am exit is easier with a ride already planned than with a phone at 5 percent battery.
