Adventure Club at Academy LA: New Year's Week

Adventure Club heads to Hollywood on Saturday, January 2, 2027, for a New Year's Week night at Academy LA. The flyer bills it that way, and the date lands right after the holiday rush, which makes it a good first big night of the year for anyone who wants to keep the party going. It is one of the more notable dates on the list of raves in Los Angeles this winter for fans of heavy, melodic bass music.

When: Saturday, January 2, 2027, doors 10:00 PM Where: Academy LA, 6021 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 Age: 21+ Tickets: Through the Academy LA event page

What to expect

Adventure Club is the Canadian duo known for pairing dubstep and drum and bass energy with big, emotional melodies. The poster shows the two of them in black against a gold and charcoal backdrop, which suits the room. Academy LA is a Hollywood Boulevard nightclub built around LED panels, lasers and CO2 jets, so a bass-forward set gets the full light show to match. If you are looking for EDM in Los Angeles that is loud and visual, this is the type of night the club is set up for.

The event listing gives a 10 PM door time and no set times, so plan to arrive early if you want a spot near the floor. Expect the night to run late. The club's regular Friday and Saturday hours are 10 PM to 3 AM, though special nights can be scheduled differently, so check the listing as the date gets closer.

Before you go

Academy LA is strict about two things. Everyone has to be 21 or older with a valid, physical ID, and the dress code is enforced. Sandals and flip-flops are out, open-toed heels are fine, and tank tops and sports jerseys will get you turned away. Shorts are only allowed in summer, so skip them in January. A DJ's own merch is allowed, which is handy if you are wearing Adventure Club gear.

The listing did not publish a ticket price, so check the event page for current pricing and availability before you plan your night. Hollywood Boulevard parking fills up on weekends, so rideshare is the simpler call for a night that ends in the early morning. Read more about Academy LA for directions and house rules.
