Most clubs go dark around 2 AM. Afters @ Tooneyverse goes the other direction. Doors open at 4 AM at 1253 S Los Angeles St Ste C in Downtown LA, and the party holds until 11 AM. That's seven hours of hip-hop, house, and club cuts across a morning that most of the city spends asleep.

The "afters" format has deep roots in the LA underground. It's where the night's energy gets concentrated into something more focused. The crowd that shows up at 4 AM came to dance, not to be seen. The DJs know it. The music reflects it.

Getting There

The venue sits on South Los Angeles Street in the Fashion District, just south of the 10 Freeway. Street parking is available along Los Angeles St and nearby blocks, though conditions vary. Metro's A Line stops at Pico Station, a short walk east. The Blue Line (also A Line) and E Line connect through 7th Street/Metro Center if you're coming from elsewhere in the region.

Uber and Lyft surge pricing can hit hard at 4 AM on a Friday night, so factor that in. If you're driving, know your exit in advance.

What to Bring

Comfortable shoes. The session runs seven hours and ends mid-morning. Bring cash for anything beyond entry. Dress for a club environment, but keep in mind you may be walking out into daylight.
