Amelie Lens at Grand Park Block 2

Factory 93 has Amelie Lens headlining an outdoor techno show at Grand Park Block 2 on Saturday, September 26. Doors are at 5pm. The 19hz listing files it under techno, and it's one of the LA EDM events this month that happens in a public park in the middle of downtown rather than a warehouse.

The lineup on the Factory 93 flyer runs four deep. Amelie Lens tops it, with Truncate, Regal and Anastasia Giovani in support. With four DJs and a 5pm door, it's a long evening, and the flyer's chrome sculpture on a blue-to-peach gradient is about as far from the Wax Motif dragons as a poster gets. Set times weren't posted on the ticket page when we checked.

Tickets are through Front Gate. On September 24 the page listed General Admission (Tier 3) at $60 plus $9.23 in fees, or $69.23 all in, and it notes that the price shown includes taxes and fees. Tiers refer only to pricing, not to what you get inside. Front Gate flags tiers as "Unavailable" when every ticket is sitting in someone's cart and "SOLD OUT" when they're gone, so refresh before you give up. The show is 21 and over only.

Grand Park Block 2 is at 200 North Grand Avenue, in downtown. According to Grand Park's visitor page, the easiest way in is the Metro Red or Purple Line to Civic Center/Grand Park Station, which drops you at the park. The Gold Line to Union Station or Little Tokyo/Arts District is the other option. No end time appears on the listing, so check train times before you commit to staying for the last track.
