EDM Artists

This is the artist side of our EDM coverage. Every profile here belongs to a DJ, producer or group that has played, or is booked to play, a Los Angeles night we list. Each page gives you the artist's main genre and where they come from, then a short bio quoted from their own site or an official source, with a link back to it. Our own paragraph says what the sound is like and why it matters to an LA crowd.

We keep the rules tight so the pages stay trustworthy. Bios come from the artist, a label, an agency or a festival page, never from a guess. A photo appears only when we can show where it came from and under which licence. If we can't, the page has no picture at all, and we would rather leave it blank than fill the gap with something that isn't the artist.

The genre filter above the list narrows the artists to one style. It only offers genres that have at least one profile, so a choice never leaves you with an empty page.

Profiles connect to the calendar. When an EDM post lists an artist who has a profile, the name on that post links here. Going the other way, each profile lists the upcoming Los Angeles shows that bill the artist, soonest first, including nights outside the EDM category. When the last show passes, that list simply disappears until the artist is booked again.
