IVY
IVY is a drum and bass DJ and producer based in Bristol. She was born and raised in rural Brittany, France, started going to free parties at around 13 or 14, and by 16 was spending what she had on hardstyle raves in the Netherlands. A move to Bristol for university brought her to the city's 4x4 drum and bass scene. She then turned to production and was offered a Hospital Records mentorship.
Her sound is 4x4 drum and bass, blending 174 BPM four-on-the-floor rhythms with hard techno, hardstyle and bounce. She has released on Sony's RCA Records, including the singles Close To Me and Looking 4 Me, and EDM.com lists a nomination for the BBC's Essential Artists for 2023. She has played 4x4 live sets on the Origin stage at Boomtown Fair.
Away from the decks, she founded the club night and brand XTASË, has a hard bounce alias, SAFYRE, and is the CEO of the festival fashion house Jazzy Garms. IVY is billed at an upcoming Los Angeles show.
