Masha Mar

Masha Mar is a DJ, producer and promoter. She was born in Serbia and is based in Los Angeles. House music found her while she was growing up in Greece, and she joined her family in Los Angeles as a teenager. Her sets run through Chicago and New York house, cosmic disco and rare dance tracks. She has a monthly NTS Radio show called Beyond the Clouds and a second residency on dublab.

In 2014 she co-founded the Dig Deeper LA party series with Alison Swing. Later she teamed up with Heidi Lawden on Take It Outside, an open-air event series for female and queer selectors. She has played Coachella, Secret Project, Making Time and the neonGARDEN stage at EDC Las Vegas.

As a producer she works with hardware such as the Roland TR-808 and Juno-60. Her debut EP, Virgil's Dream, came out on Night Prism, and her Cherry Cherry EP is on SOS Music. Her tracks have also appeared on Femme House and Dusk Recordings. She has signed with the UK booking agency Warm Agency for touring, and she is billed at upcoming Los Angeles shows.
