ATLiens: Destruction of a UFO Tour at Exposition Park

The masked duo ATLiens bring their Destruction of a UFO Tour to Los Angeles on Saturday, October 17, and Bassrush is putting it outside on the South Lawn at Exposition Park. The show runs from 5pm to 11pm and it's 18 and over. It's one of the bigger outdoor bass shows on the LA EDM calendar this fall, and it lands in a park instead of a club.

The lineup

ATLiens headline. The Insomniac listing adds The Masquerade, Zoey808, Hostage Situation and MACHAKI underneath them. The flyer prints one support slot as "????????? B2B Zoey808", so there is a mystery guest going back to back with Zoey808 that hasn't been named. Insomniac tags the night as dubstep, bass and electronic, which is a fair read of everyone on the bill. Expect heavy, weird, sci-fi sound design from the headliners, who have never shown their faces on stage.

Tickets

Front Gate is the ticket seller. When we checked on September 24, general admission was $40 plus $9.74 in fees, or $49.74 all in. VIP was $106.15 and is 21 and over. It covers expedited entry, VIP bathrooms, VIP bars with cocktails and a VIP viewing area. A $234.36 VIP package with early entry, a meet and greet, a photo with ATLiens and a signed tour poster was already sold out. Front Gate says the price shown includes taxes and fees and that tiers refer only to pricing.

Getting there

Exposition Park's address is 700 Exposition Park Drive, just south of USC. The Metro E Line stops at Expo Park/USC, right at the park, so skipping the car is realistic. With an 11pm finish you have time to catch a train home, though it's worth checking the last departure for your line before you go.

Bassrush is back in the same neighborhood a few weeks later, when Ray Volpe plays The Torch at the Coliseum on November 28. ATLiens also played Beyond Wonderland SoCal this year, and Beyond Wonderland 2027 is already on sale. For more raves in LA, see the EDM category page.
