The first Saturday night of 2027 has a techno answer for anyone not ready to wind down. AZYR brings a full AZYR Party to the Hollywood Palladium on January 2, and the flyer sells it with a slogan: "No party like an AZYR party." If you are tracking EDM in Los Angeles for the new year, this one belongs on the calendar early.
When: Saturday, January 2, 2027, 8:00 PM to 1:45 AM Where: Hollywood Palladium, 6215 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 Genre: Techno Tickets: Insomniac event page
What to expect
AZYR works in techno, and the listing tags the night that way. The event page names AZYR and no other acts, so treat this as a headliner-led night and check the Insomniac page for any lineup additions before you go. The poster carries the Mutate logo alongside the title, which points to the Mutate brand being tied to the party. The masked, hooded figure on the artwork fits the dark, industrial look the name suggests.
The Palladium is a good fit for a night like this. It is a big, open ballroom-style room with a large floor, and a techno crowd tends to fill it right to the back wall. The run time is long, nearly six hours, so there is no need to arrive at the opening minute. Settle in, find your spot, and let the night build.
Getting there
The venue sits on Sunset Boulevard in the heart of Hollywood. Street parking nearby is tight on event nights, so plan on a paid lot or a rideshare drop-off. With a 1:45 AM finish, a ride home arranged ahead of time is the easier choice. Ticket pricing was not listed on the page when this was written, so check the ticket link for the current tiers and any age requirement.
If you are putting together a list of things to do in Los Angeles in early January, this is the clear pick for techno fans. Keep an eye on LA events this weekend lists once the date gets closer. For more nights like it, browse the EDM category and the Hollywood Palladium venue page.
Dates, times and lineups can change, so confirm everything on the official page before you head out.
