Two party brands share one room on Saturday, October 17, when Baile World x Khanistan lands at Don Quixote with Armana Khan headlining the bill and more guests still to be named on the ticketing page. If you are putting together a list of EDM in Los Angeles for the second half of October, this late-night dance party belongs on it.
When: Saturday, October 17, 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM Where: Don Quixote, 2811 E Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90023 Tickets: $31.93 on DICE
What to expect
The flyer tells you most of what you need to know about the mood. It is a hand-drawn scene of two DJs perched on a wall of speakers, with a dancing crowd below and a lot of hot pink. That is a party built around the sound system and the floor, not a seated show.
The listing credits Armana Khan as the featured act and promises "and more," so the rest of the lineup is not published yet. Check the DICE page before you go, since support acts and set times can appear closer to the date. DICE lists the genre simply as DJ, so expect a night of club music rather than a single narrow style.
Getting there
Don Quixote sits on East Olympic Boulevard on the east side of Los Angeles, a short drive from downtown. The night runs until 2 AM, so plan your ride home before you arrive. A rideshare is the easy answer for a late finish, and pre-booking a pickup spot a block or two away tends to beat the surge crowd at closing time.
Tickets are sold through DICE, which keeps them in the app. Buy ahead, since a party like this is likely to get pricier or sell out closer to the day. Bring a valid ID and check the listing for the age policy, which is not stated in the source information.
Make a night of it
If you are hunting for things to do in Los Angeles this month, this one pairs well with an early dinner on the east side before doors. Doors and set times beyond the 9 PM start are not confirmed, so arrive with some flexibility.
