Blade Rave takes over 1720 on Friday, September 25, 2026, and the whole idea is lifted from one scene: the Bloodbath rave that opens the vampire film Blade. Haus Of Restless is the promoter, and the venue bills it as a reimagined night inside that club. If you've been hunting for raves in Los Angeles that lean theatrical rather than just loud, this is one of the stranger options on the September calendar.
What happens on the night
The music is a blend: DJs working through goth, techno and house plus other corners of EDM, which is also how the 19hz listing tags it. Around the booth you get go-go dancers in vampire looks, cosplayers, themed cocktails and limited "Blood Bags." Custom visuals come from @deadeyesart.
The centerpiece is a midnight bloodbath. 1720 is upfront about it: if you're in the crowd when it drops, you may get wet. The fake blood is washable, but the venue warns there's a small chance it stains. Wear something you don't mind losing, or hang back when the clock hits twelve.
Suggested attire is goth, industrial, steampunk, vampire or superhero cosplay. Photos and a video recap go up afterward on bladerave.com.
Tickets, time and age
It's 18 and up. The 19hz listing prices tickets at $23-41 through Etix. 19hz lists a 9 pm start, while 1720's own event page says 10 pm, so check your ticket before heading out. VIP tables hold up to six people, include one bottle with mixers and a separate VIP line, and are 21+ with a card and photo ID shown at seating.
Getting there
1720 sits at 1720 E. 16th Street in the industrial stretch just southeast of downtown LA. The venue recommends rideshare. If you must drive, it says to arrive early for a spot close to the door and not to leave valuables in the car.
