Body Wave: Jonny Rock, DJ Lloyd, Tavish DJ b2b Xica Soul

Body Wave is a nine-hour dance party on Saturday, November 28, built around funk, disco and house. Jonny Rock, DJ Lloyd and Tavish DJ b2b Xica Soul are on the bill. If you keep a list of raves in Los Angeles that lean groovy instead of hard, this one belongs on it.

When: Saturday, November 28, 2026, 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM Where: TBA, Los Angeles Price: $17.25-46 Tickets: Resident Advisor

What to expect

The genre tags (funk, disco, house) point to a warm, rhythm-first night rather than a wall of bass. Funk and disco records tend to keep a floor moving at a friendly tempo, and house gives the DJs a smooth way to bridge between them. That makes it a good fit for anyone who wants EDM in Los Angeles with more swing than aggression.

Tavish DJ and Xica Soul share a b2b set, which means two selectors trading records on the same decks. Those sets usually turn on instinct, so expect surprises instead of a fixed script. The listing does not publish a running order, so it is not clear who opens or closes.

A 10 PM start and 7 AM finish is a full overnight run. You can arrive late and still catch hours of music, and the early-morning stretch is often where the selectors get most adventurous.

Practical info

The venue is listed as TBA, and no address has been published. Locations for nights like this are often released to ticket holders closer to the date, so check the Resident Advisor page for updates before you go. Plan your ride home in advance, since the party runs well past the hours when transit thins out.

The price is listed as $17.25-46. A range like that usually means tiered tickets that rise as the date nears, so buying early is the safer way to land near the lower number. Details can change, so confirm times and the location on the ticket page.

If you are mapping out a Thanksgiving-weekend plan, this is one of the LA events this weekend that runs into Sunday morning. For more nights like it, browse the EDM category and the this weekend page.
