Boiler Room is heading back to Los Angeles for a full Saturday takeover at one of the city's most storied outdoor spots. On September 26, El Pueblo De Los Angeles Historical Monument becomes the backdrop for a sprawling, multi-genre lineup that mixes rap, hip hop, bass, techno, and more into a single all-day session starting at 3 PM.
What makes this one different is the host. LA's own rising cultural collective heds is holding it down for the day, bringing a local lens to a global platform. Boiler Room has built its reputation on streaming underground sets from cramped rooms and rooftops worldwide, so handing the reins to an LA crew with roots in the scene is exactly the kind of move that makes these events land differently than your standard festival booking.
The venue itself adds weight. El Pueblo is the oldest neighborhood in Los Angeles, right in the heart of Downtown, a short walk from Olvera Street and Union Station. There's history pressed into every tile and archway, which is a strange and compelling contrast for a day of electronic music and hip hop. That tension between old city and new sounds is part of what Boiler Room chases.
Expect a crowd that crosses scenes. Boiler Room events in LA consistently draw people who show up for one genre and leave curious about three others. If you're into LA EDM events or looking for things to do in Los Angeles that go beyond the obvious, this is worth marking.
The lineup covers serious ground: bass music on one side of the spectrum, hip hop in the middle, techno anchoring the late-afternoon push. Doors open at 3 PM and the event runs through 10 PM, so you're looking at a genuine seven-hour stretch.
Tickets start at $69.99 through DICE and remaining inventory is limited. Supported by Sebastian Professional.
Getting there is easy from anywhere in the metro. Union Station is a short walk from El Pueblo, served by the Metro A, B, and E Lines as well as Metrolink. Street parking in DTLA on a Saturday is manageable, though ride-share drop-off on Alameda or Los Angeles Street is the smoother call if you're coming from the west side.
Check the Downtown LA neighborhood guide for more on what's around the venue, or browse the EDM events calendar for other upcoming electronic music events in LA.
