Most raves in Los Angeles ask you to stay up late. This one asks you to show up early. On Sunday, October 18, Spanish duo Chus & Ceballos headline Cielo du Sol at Cielo Farms, a vineyard on Mulholland Highway in the hills above Malibu, and the party runs from noon straight through to 10 PM.

When: Sunday, October 18, 2026, 12 PM to 10 PM Where: Cielo Farms, 31424 Mulholland Highway, Malibu Tickets: $84.98 via DICE

Who's playing

Chus & Ceballos have spent over two decades building what they call the Iberican Sound, a percussion-heavy mix of tribal, tech and underground house that has carried them through major clubs and festivals around the world and onto some of the biggest labels in dance music. Their sets lean on drum work and momentum rather than big-room drops, which suits a long outdoor afternoon better than most touring headliners would. Expect deeper grooves while the sun is high and a harder, peak-time push once it starts dropping behind the ridgeline.

What to expect

Cielo du Sol is a day party, and the setting does half the work. Cielo Farms sits up in the Santa Monica Mountains with vine rows and canyon views, about as far in spirit from the warehouse circuit as you can get while the music stays underground. Ten hours is a real commitment, so pace yourself: get there for the early sets and save your legs for the final stretch. October in Malibu usually means a warm afternoon and a sharp temperature drop after sunset, so bring a layer you can tie around your waist until dark.

Getting there

The venue is at 31424 Mulholland Highway, a canyon drive of roughly 40 minutes from the Westside without traffic, and longer on a clear fall weekend. There's no practical transit option up the mountain, so plan on driving, carpooling or a rideshare, and sort out your trip home before you need it. Cell service gets patchy in the canyons.

If daytime open-air parties are your corner of EDM in Los Angeles, this is a rare chance this month to catch a touring headliner in the hills instead of a club. Browse more EDM in Los Angeles on the calendar, or see what else is happening across greater LA.
