CID at the Hollywood Palladium

CID is headlining the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday, January 9, 2027, and Insomniac is the one putting it on. The listing runs from 8pm to 1:45am, so this is a full night in one of the biggest rooms on Sunset, not a quick club set squeezed in before last call. If you're mapping out LA EDM events for the first weeks of the new year, this is an early one to pencil in.

The lineup

Insomniac's event page names two performing artists: CID and SCRIPT. The flyer adds a third name, Dedro, printed just under SCRIPT, and Dedro also shows up in the listing's tags. Set times weren't posted when we checked. Insomniac files the night under house, melodic techno and techno, which gives you a decent idea of the arc: openers warming the floor with deeper grooves, then the headliner pushing into the harder, driving end of the house spectrum.

The flyer itself is a nice touch. It's lime green, with a black silhouette of the Palladium's facade and the marquee spelling out "CID JAN. 9." It's the kind of artwork that tells you the promoter built this show around the room.

Tickets and age

When we checked on September 26, the Insomniac page didn't list a ticket price or an on-sale link. It shows a "Sign Up for Presale" button instead, so tickets aren't out yet. Sign up there if you want first shot, and check back on the event page for pricing once the presale opens. We won't guess at a number.

The show is 18+, per Insomniac. Bring a valid photo ID. The venue's general info line is listed as (323) 962-7600.

Getting there

The Hollywood Palladium sits at 6215 Sunset Blvd., between Argyle and El Centro. The Metro B Line stop at Hollywood/Vine is a short walk, and it's the easiest way in on a Saturday night. Street parking near Sunset fills up fast and the lots charge event rates, so a ride share or the train will save you some grief. The show ends at 1:45am, which is after the last B Line trains on many nights, so plan your ride home before you go.

One for the calendar

January can be a slow month for nightlife, and a single-headliner Palladium date from Insomniac tends to draw a dedicated crowd. If house and techno are your thing and you're looking for LA events this weekend when January 9 rolls around, this one belongs near the top of the list.
