Clawz is playing a long one on Wednesday, November 25, the night before Thanksgiving. Mutate is running the show from 10pm to 3am, and with no work the next morning for a lot of people, it's one of the better LA EDM events to land on a weeknight this fall.
The flyer bills it as Clawz: For the Floor, an extended set. That means one headliner holding the room for a big chunk of the night instead of a quick rotation of openers. Dr Donk is on as the special guest, and the flyer says he presents zaagstep. Insomniac tags the night as hardstyle and hard dance, so expect kicks, not deep house. No set times have been posted yet.
A heads-up on the venue, because the listings don't agree. Insomniac's event page names Exchange LA downtown. The Mutate flyer on that same page says Avalon Hollywood, 1735 Vine St. Avalon's own calendar also lists "Clawz w/ Dr Donk" on 11.25.26. Two out of three point to Avalon, so that's where we'd plan to go, but check the ticket before you head out. Showing up at the wrong club at 11pm is a rough start to a holiday weekend.
The artwork is simple. It's a black poster with a red, spiky line drawing on the left and blocky white type on the right, with the Mutate wordmark on top and "10PM // 21+" near the bottom.
That 21+ line matters. Bring a valid ID that matches the name on your ticket.
Price isn't listed anywhere we could verify. Insomniac's structured data for the night carries no price, so we're not going to guess at one. Use the Buy Tickets link on the Insomniac listing to see current tiers.
Getting there: if it's Avalon, the Hollywood/Vine station on the Metro B Line is basically around the corner. Trains thin out late, and they won't get you home at 3am, so line up a rideshare or a sober driver before the night starts. Parking near Hollywood and Vine is pricey and fills up fast on event nights.
Hard dance doesn't get as many headline nights here as techno or house does, so a hardstyle bill on a long-weekend eve is worth noting if you track EDM Los Angeles calendars closely. It also fits nicely if you're looking for things to do in Los Angeles over Thanksgiving that don't involve a folding table and a turkey. More nights like this are on the EDM category page, and the rest of the Hollywood calendar is a click away.
