Deep Dive with Jeremy Sole at the Hollywood Roosevelt

Deep Dive is back at the Tropicana Pool on Friday, September 25, and this time the guest behind the decks is Jeremy Sole, whom the DICE listing calls a beloved LA DJ. The flyer's tagline sums up the format: "a dance party you can swim to." It runs 8 PM to midnight at The Hollywood Roosevelt.

How the night is built

Each Deep Dive opens with a featured album played front to back. This edition's pick is Bullion's Nearly, out on Ghostly International, and the flyer puts it at 8 PM. So the first part of the night is a proper listen. After that, Sole takes over.

The series is curated with In Sheep's Clothing hi-fi, which is named as co-organizer with the hotel on DICE. That pairing explains the album-first structure. It's closer to a record-club night that happens to have a pool than to the typical Hollywood hotel party.

Last week's edition went a different direction musically, so don't assume two Deep Dives sound alike. The guest and the album change every time.
