Deorro Presents Botas y Rave at Grand Park

Deorro grew up in La Puente, and his whole career has been a long argument that a banda horn line and a festival drop belong in the same set. Botas y Rave is where he makes that case out loud. On Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6, 2026, he brings it to Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles for two nights, and it's easily one of the more interesting LA EDM events on the December calendar.

Insomniac's flyer for the run calls it "Botas y Rave in the Park," and the art tells you the dress code: cowboy boots and a sombrero glowing neon green in the grass. Bring the boots.

Two Nights, Two Lineups

Deorro headlines both nights. The supporting bills change:

• December 5: Ezequiel Peña Jr. y su Banda Vallarta, plus Juos.
• December 6: Las Voces del Rancho, plus Doknow.

That's a real regional Mexican booking, not a novelty act. Ezequiel Peña Jr. fronts a full banda, and Las Voces del Rancho are a corridos group with a following of their own. Putting them next to a house DJ who plays Insomniac festival stages is the whole point of the series. Expect Latin house, big-room moments, and the kind of tuba-and-808 mashups Deorro has been dropping for years.

What To Expect

Grand Park runs from the Music Center down to City Hall, and the lawn is used to big crowds; Insomniac has booked house and techno nights here before. It's an open-air show, and December evenings downtown get cold once the sun drops. A jacket over the western shirt is a smart call.

The event is 18+, so bring a valid ID. Insomniac's page lists the genres as electronic, house and Latin.

• When: December 5 and 6, 2026. The flyer lists 5pm. Insomniac's event page shows the hours as 05:00 AM to 11:00 PM on both days, which reads like a typo for 5pm; treat the flyer as the start and check the listing again before you head out.

Getting there is easiest by Metro. The Civic Center/Grand Park station on the B and D lines drops you at the park's edge, and the Historic Broadway stop on the A and E lines is a short walk. Driving means paying for Music Center or Civic Center garages, and both fill on event nights.
