Desert Hearts & Justin Martin at Academy LA

Desert Hearts and Justin Martin are teaming up for an "All Night Long" session at Academy LA on Saturday, November 14. If you're hunting for raves in Los Angeles that lean toward warm, groove-heavy house rather than big-room drops, this is a strong pick for the month.

When: Saturday, November 14, 2026, 10:00 PM Where: Academy LA, 6021 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 Tickets: TicketWeb

Who's playing

Desert Hearts is a house and techno crew that grew out of desert festival culture and built a loyal following around long, danceable sets and a friendly, come-as-you-are crowd. Justin Martin is a San Francisco producer known for bass-forward house with a playful streak, and his sets tend to keep the floor moving without leaning on cliches. Put the two together and the "all night long" billing makes sense: this is a night meant to build slowly and stay locked in.

The listing doesn't publish set times or a full lineup beyond the two names, so check the ticket page closer to the date for updates. We haven't listed a ticket price because the ticket page wasn't available to read when this was written.

The room

Academy LA sits on Hollywood Boulevard and runs mostly on weekends. The club's own site describes LED panels across the ceiling and walls, plus lasers and CO2 jets over the dance floor, so expect a lot of light to go with the groove. Read our Academy LA venue guide for house rules before you go. The short version: guests must be 21 or older with a physical ID, and the dress code is enforced, with no sandals, tank tops or sports jerseys.

Planning your night

Saturday doors at Academy generally open at 10 PM and the club runs until 3 AM, though the listing for this event is the best source for exact hours. Hollywood Boulevard parking fills up on weekends, so a rideshare or the nearby Metro B Line is the easier route in, and it saves you from driving home after a long set.

If you're building a weekend around it, this is one of the things happening in Hollywood that night, and the neighborhood has plenty of food nearby for an early dinner. More dance floors worth a look are collected on our EDM events page, a good place to start when you're sorting through EDM in Los Angeles for the rest of November.

Desert Hearts nights tend to sell well, so buy early if you plan to go, and double-check the ticket page for the latest timing before you head out.
