District 28 lands at Dirt Dog Compound in Commerce on Saturday, January 16, 2027. It's early to be writing about a mid-January party, but The LA Raver already has it pinned in the "coming up" list of its September 23 itinerary, and the ticket page is live on Posh. The Posh link itself describes the event as a 12-hour festival at the compound. If you like planning your LA EDM events months ahead, this one is worth a calendar slot now.

What we know so far

Not much, honestly, and we'd rather say that than fill the gap. The date is set. The venue is set. The ticket page exists. What hasn't shown up anywhere we could check is a lineup, a genre breakdown, set times or a price. The Posh page loads its details in the browser, and when we checked, none of it came through as readable text or ticket data.

One small quirk: the newsletter calls it District 28, while the Posh link reads "project 28." Treat them as the same event at the same address on the same date, and trust whatever the ticket page says once it fills in.

The venue

Dirt Dog Compound sits at 2909 Supply Ave in Commerce, a small industrial city just southeast of downtown. It's become a regular stop for the heavier end of EDM Los Angeles, with RIOT booked there on November 13 and Rave Haven's two-night Nightmare Realm running in October. It's a warehouse-and-lot setup rather than a club, which is what makes a day-into-night format workable there.

A 12-hour run changes how you plan. You'll want real food before you go, a refillable water bottle if the venue allows it, and shoes you can stand in until well past dark. January nights in Commerce get cold once the sun drops, so bring a layer you don't mind tying around your waist.

Tickets go through Posh at the link above. We didn't find a price, so we're not listing one. Check the page directly before you buy, and look for the age policy there too, since we couldn't confirm it.

Supply Ave is a short drive off the 5 and the 710. Rideshare is the easy call for a party this long, because nobody wants to find their car at the end of a 12-hour day. Parking details weren't posted when we checked.
