Most LA EDM events start after 10 PM and end with a taco truck at 2 AM. Early Birdz flips the clock. Flight 013 of the morning series lands at the Pluto LA penthouse on Wilshire on Sunday, October 4, and runs from 10 AM to 3 PM. Iced coffee replaces the vodka sodas, and you still get five hours of house music.
It's sober and open to all ages. The organizers say zero alcohol, and that's the whole idea of the series, not a rule bolted on after the fact.
Who's Playing
Five acts share the decks: DeepMe, Yanicrash, Elle Blink, Anasthesia and NORO feat. JIVAN. The promoters bill the day as a straight run of house, so expect things to start mellow before noon and get busier as the afternoon goes on. Red Bull is the sponsor this time, which is why the flyer says "fueled by" and why there are coolers backstage.
More Than a Dance Floor
Early Birdz sets up its mornings like a tiny festival. Fly High Cafe pours iced coffee and matcha and serves brunch bites. The Mocking Bird Bar mixes zero-proof cocktails. A vendor row called the Bird Bazaar brings in jewelry makers, painters and tattoo artists, and there's a baked goods stand too.
Parents get a real option here. Face painting runs for the kids, and the Wellnest corner offers IV therapy and massage for the adults who stayed up too late on Saturday. Not many raves in Los Angeles sell a kids' ticket. This one does.
Tickets and Pricing
Posh lists the lowest price as $15.00. That's the Hatchlings ticket for kids under 12. Adult tickets rise by date: $45 until midnight on Wednesday, September 30, then $55 from October 1 to 3, and $65 on the day and at the door. The Family Flight bundle covers two adults and two kids under 12 for $110.
A $75 Backstage Pass adds fast-lane entry, a spot next to the DJs, the Red Bull coolers and a backstage snack bar. Bigger crews can book The Nest ($400, up to six people) or Captain's Deck ($800, up to 12). Both come with espresso bottle service and backstage access for everyone in the group.
Buying before Wednesday night saves $20 per adult compared with the door.
Getting There
Pluto LA is in suite 1700 at 6100 Wilshire Blvd, at Wilshire and Fairfax on the same stretch as LACMA and the Petersen Automotive Museum. A Sunday morning on the Miracle Mile is about as calm as this part of town gets, so rideshare drop-offs should be quick. Leave a few extra minutes for the elevator ride up.
For more daytime and late-night sets, browse the EDM calendar or the wider Los Angeles page. If your list of things to do in Los Angeles that weekend is short on anything before noon, this one fills the gap. The last set wraps at 3 PM, which leaves the rest of Sunday free.
