Expression Halloween at Yamashiro Hollywood

Halloween night lands on a Saturday this year, and Expression is marking it at Yamashiro Hollywood with a five-act bill: Dave Aju, Heidi Lawden, Masha Mar, Tavish and Things You Say. If you are mapping out raves in Los Angeles for the holiday weekend, this one trades a warehouse for a hillside venue with a view.

When: Saturday, October 31, 2026, 9:00 PM to midnight Where: Yamashiro Hollywood Tickets: Resident Advisor

What to expect

Dave Aju is the first name on the lineup, a producer and DJ known for off-kilter house music. Masha Mar is also on the bill alongside Tavish and Things You Say fill out the night. The listing gives no set times, so check Resident Advisor closer to the date for the running order.

Expect costumes. Halloween nights at dance venues tend to bring out full outfits, so dress for dancing and for the October evening air.

Practical info

The listing does not state a price, and no cover charge is confirmed here. Resident Advisor is the place to see current ticket tiers and to buy, and events like this can sell out in the final days. The page also does not list an age limit, so confirm entry rules before you go.

Yamashiro sits in the hills above Hollywood, and the approach roads are narrow and busy on a holiday night. Plan for rideshare or a shuttle instead of hunting for a spot, and give yourself extra time to arrive. Arrive early if you want to catch the opening set, since the night runs only a few hours on the listed schedule.

Why it fits the weekend

For anyone browsing LA events this weekend, or just looking for things to do in Los Angeles on Halloween, this is a house-focused option that sits apart from the big festival lineups. It suits people who care more about the selectors than a headliner spectacle. More dance floor picks are collected on our EDM page, and you can see what else is on nearby in Hollywood.

Details come from the Resident Advisor listing and may change, so check the event page before heading out.
