Five Nights at Freddy's Rave at The Compound by Dirt Dog

The Five Nights at Freddy's Rave lands at The Compound by Dirt Dog in Commerce on Saturday, December 19, running from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

If you've played the horror game series, you already know the aesthetic: animatronic nightmare fuel, flickering security cameras, and the persistent sense that something is wrong. Translated into a rave context, that means atmospheric horror visuals, themed decor, and a production setup built around the game's distinctive imagery. Add an EDM sound system and you have the format.

The Event

Themed raves have carved out a real niche in the LA scene. They draw crowds that wouldn't typically show up to a standard club night, people who come for the full experience rather than just the music. The Five Nights at Freddy's Rave has run in other cities and has a track record for production quality. The visuals are the point.

The music runs EDM-broad: expect the kinds of drops and builds that work at volume in a warehouse setting rather than anything too niche or underground. This is a party in the full sense.

The Venue

The Compound by Dirt Dog is an event space in Commerce, southeast of downtown Los Angeles. It's warehouse-sized, which suits the theatrical lighting and production this event requires. Commerce is accessible from the 5 and 710 freeways, about 8 miles from downtown LA.
