#FRVR YOUNG: Golden Era EDM Party at The Vermont

Remember when every festival main stage sounded like a stadium singalong and "Levels" was on the radio between pop songs? #FRVR YOUNG: Golden Era EDM Party is built around that stretch of years. It lands at The Vermont Hollywood on Friday, October 2, running from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. If you're scanning LA EDM events for something that doesn't need a deep knowledge of underground techno labels, this one's pretty much the opposite of that. You'll know most of the words.

The Music

The organizers are upfront about the playlist. They name Avicii, Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Zedd, David Guetta, Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Skrillex, Alesso and Hardwell as the sounds they're taking you back to. Worth It?

If your idea of EDM Los Angeles starts with a phone held up during "Don't You Worry Child," yes. It's four hours of songs you already love, in a club instead of a field in the desert, and you're home by 2:30.
