Halloween night lands on a Saturday this year, and GOTILANDIA is spending it in Chinatown. The goth and rock en español party takes over the Grand Star Jazz Club for the first time, with music on two floors until 2 AM. If you are mapping out LA events this weekend, this is the one for people who would rather dance in costume than watch from the sidewalk.
When: Saturday, October 31, 2026, 9:30 PM to 2:00 AM Where: Grand Star Jazz Club, 943 N Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90012 Tickets: $17.00 through DICE Ages: 21+ with ID
What to expect
The night is split by floor. The first floor is the en español room: rock en español, goth en español, darkwave and new wave, post-punk and classic goth. The second floor runs 80s dark hits, new wave, darkwave, post-punk and goth. You can drift between the two all night, which suits anyone who likes their nostalgia in two languages.
DJ Emmy 2.0, the promoter and DJ behind Club Retro Boom, headlines alongside DJ Suplicio from Tijuana, with special guest DJs on the bill. The organizers also run a costume contest with cash and prizes, so come dressed to compete. The crowd is LGBTQIA+ friendly.
It fits the pull of EDM in Los Angeles toward dark, danceable nights, even though the sound here leans more guitar-and-synth than festival drop. Think of it as a theme party first and a club night second.
Getting there
The Grand Star sits on North Broadway in the heart of Chinatown, a short walk from the Chinatown Metro A Line station. The promoters note free street parking nearby plus paid lots, but Halloween weekend fills up fast, so give yourself extra time or take a rideshare. Doors are at 9:30 PM and the party runs to 2 AM, so there is no rush to arrive early unless you want to skip a line.
Tickets are sold through DICE, and this is a 21+ event, so bring a valid ID. Check the DICE page for the latest on availability before you head out.
