CODE RED GRAVIITY^+

GRAViiTY is not a name you'll hear at every underground show. The artist has played TELETECH, DREAMSTATE, FCKNYE, MOONWORLD, and DREAMNATION, plus festivals across the US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, India, and Europe. This Saturday, September 19, he lands in Downtown Los Angeles for CODE RED.

The event is billed as a live performance, not a DJ set. GRAViiTY mixes hard bounce, hard techno, and psy rave with live guitar and custom machines. It's the kind of show where the hardware on stage is as much a part of the spectacle as the music coming out of the speakers.

Doors open late. The night runs from 11:45 p.m. Saturday through 6:00 a.m. Sunday. If you've been to a CODE RED party before, you know how the hours disappear.

The venue is listed as SECRET DTLA, meaning the exact address gets shared closer to the date or after you purchase. That's standard for underground events in the area. Keep an eye on your confirmation email or the Posh event page for the location drop.

Downtown LA has a deep history with this kind of event. The Arts District and its surrounding blocks have hosted warehouse nights for years, and the DTLA underground circuit is well connected to the international techno scene that GRAViiTY runs in.

Tickets and details are on Posh. If you're coming from outside the neighborhood, the Metro A and E Lines both connect at 7th/Metro Center, and the B and D Lines stop at Pershing Square. Rideshare drop-off in DTLA is straightforward most late nights.

This one is worth showing up for early in the set. GRAViiTY's live rig takes time to build, and the first hour sets the tone for everything that follows.
