Gudfella at Sound Nightclub in Hollywood

Gudfella takes over Sound Nightclub in Hollywood on Saturday, December 12, for a house music night that runs well past midnight. If you are mapping out EDM in Los Angeles for the holiday stretch, this is a solid early pick: a single headliner, a proper club sound system and a late finish.

When: Saturday, December 12, 2026, 10:00 PM to 2:30 AM Where: Sound Nightclub, 1642 N Las Palmas Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028 Tickets: From $24.93 on DICE

What to expect

The listing tags this one as house, so expect a night built around groove, steady four-on-the-floor drums and long builds rather than festival-sized drops. Sound is a club-sized room, which means the dance floor stays close to the booth and the energy carries from the first hour. The flyer is built around a teal vinyl graphic, a fair hint that the set leans on classic house sensibilities.

Doors and set times beyond the 10 PM start are not published yet, so check the DICE page closer to the date. Club nights like this usually fill in steadily after 11 PM, so arriving a little early gets you a shorter line and room to settle in.

Getting there

Sound sits just off Hollywood Boulevard on Las Palmas Avenue, in the middle of one of the busiest nightlife stretches in the city. Street parking in the area is scarce on a Saturday night, and nearby paid lots fill up quickly. A rideshare drop-off is the easiest way in and out, and the Hollywood/Highland Metro station is a short ride away if you prefer transit for the early part of the evening.

Bring a valid photo ID. Sound is a 21+ venue, and ticket buyers should expect an ID check at the door. Tickets go through DICE, so keep the app handy on the night. Table reservations are handled separately through the venue.

Planning your weekend

December weekends in the city fill up fast, and this night lands in the thick of the season. If you are scrolling through things to do in Los Angeles that run late, a house night in Hollywood pairs well with an early dinner nearby before the doors open. Browse more on the EDM category page or see what else is on in Hollywood, and read the Sound Nightclub venue guide for house rules and layout.

Prices on DICE can rise as tickets sell through, so the $24.93 listing is the one to catch early.
