Exchange LA

Exchange LA has HEYZ x Smoakland on the bill for Saturday, October 17, with Capochino joining as the special guest. Doors open at 10pm on Spring Street. If you're scanning LA EDM events for the middle of October, this is a straightforward Saturday club night in one of downtown's best-known rooms.

The venue's listing keeps things short. It names HEYZ x Smoakland as the headliner and Capochino as the guest, and that's the whole lineup. There's no published set order, so show up close to doors if you want to catch the opener from the start.

The flyer tells you the mood

Exchange's artwork for this one is all purple: cartoon smoke clouds swirling over a black background, plus a couple of winged eyeballs floating in the corners. It reads more playful than the usual dark techno flyer, and the lettering is puffy and hand-drawn. The bottom line of the flyer confirms the basics: 618 S Spring St, 21+, 10pm.

Tickets and entry

This is a 21+ night, and all sales are final. Exchange is strict about where your ticket comes from. Its entry guidelines say the club has no association with StubHub, Vivid Seats, Eventbrite or other third-party resellers, and tickets from those sites won't get you in. Valid tickets come through TicketWeb (and Tixr for some shows), and your government-issued ID has to match the name on the ticket.

Buy through the TicketWeb page. Neither the venue page nor our check of the ticket link showed a price, so look at TicketWeb for current tiers before you commit. Exchange also takes VIP table reservations from its event page if you're rolling in with a group.

Getting there

Exchange LA sits at 618 S Spring St inside the old Los Angeles Stock Exchange building, a short walk from Pershing Square. The Pershing Square Metro station on the B and D lines is the closest rail stop, but late trains get sparse, so plan your ride home before you head in. Street parking around Spring and 6th on a Saturday night is hit or miss, and the paid lots nearby fill up early.
