If you spent any time in a club between 2009 and 2015, you've heard INNA even if you couldn't name her. The Romanian singer broke out with "Hot," a house track that crossed from Bucharest to dance floors all over Europe, and she's been turning out dance-pop singles ever since. On Sunday, November 15, she plays Avalon Hollywood, and it's easily one of the more fun LA EDM events on the fall calendar for anyone who grew up on that era of club radio.
Who's playing
INNA is the headliner, and the whole night is built around her. Her catalog sits right where house music meets pop: four-on-the-floor kicks, big hooks and vocals you can actually sing along to. She's recorded in English, Spanish and Romanian, so a set can drift between languages without losing the room. Her label, Global Records, is billed on the flyer.
The event flyer also lists an opening set by DJ Nina Litina, so plan on getting there early if you want the warm-up.
The room
Avalon is a 1920s theater on Vine Street that's been a nightclub for decades. The main floor slopes down toward the stage, and the balconies wrap around above it, which means sightlines are better than at most clubs this size. The sound system is built for dance music, and a singer with club records gets the most out of it. For a lot of people, the Avalon is the default answer when someone asks about EDM Los Angeles venues with some history behind them.

Getting there
Avalon sits a few steps south of Hollywood Boulevard, right by the Hollywood/Vine Metro B Line station, so the train is the easiest way in and out. Street parking around Vine fills up quickly on show nights, and the paid lots nearby charge event rates. It's a Sunday show, so if you're driving, check the street signs carefully before you walk away from the car.
Since it's all ages, it works for younger fans who can't get into the 21+ club nights the Avalon usually runs. Bring an ID anyway; the venue's FAQ page covers entry policies.
